The toll on lives and properties is significant. The cost on mental health and insurance claims far outways the cost updating the 40+ year old Muskoka Watershed Plan. Impementation of the plan will still be more cost effective than having continued flooding with its associated costs. Please do something now as we know global warming will severely affect weather in the nnext 10 years. I hate to think beyond that and tthe lega cy we have left our children.

This mismanagement has done lots of damage to our boathouse, dock, hot tub and a refrigerator. It has also delayed our ability to enjoy our cottage for the last 2 weeks. Clean up will be extensive, and our family time on the long weekend cancelled. I am furious and very sad.
