Every Wednesday, the students of LCIS gather in various classrooms for 45 minutes during mini-course time. This is called Bobcat Family. These lessons are created to teach students about building character and being a good person, I think they should be taught at home -- by the parents of the child as they grow up. The reason I believe that Bobcat Family is unnecessary is because we still do citizenship lessons and such in advisory. Bobcat Family classes are on Wednesday mornings for 45 minutes. Why get rid of it?

-Would you rather not have 15 minutes of study hall, or not have any advisory for a day every week?

-8th grade wave students are especially affected during the 3rd nine weeks, because we will have 45 minutes of wasted time when they could be working on TPSP.

-6th grade students will have it for 3 whole years if this does not change.
