Keep New York state school Rifle Teams!
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
When people think of Rifles they think of school shootings, which the media has done to the people of the United States. If anything, Rifle teams have taught the kids of this generation safety with firearms, with it be air powered, or cartridge fed. The people who have wanted to get rid of these tools have crippled the name of Rifle Team to bring it right back to school shooters. I can guarantee that he majority of anyone on a team, or even in a club have never thought of shooting inside of a school. We know what these firearms can do, and we respect them, with gun safety. As said by gun owner Tony Abrami in a recent Chanel 4 news interview, "You want to ban baseball teams because they use bats? Anything can be used as a weapon". We are just trying to have fun with the SPORT that teaches us good morals with firearms, be pistols, semi automatic, fully automatic, shotguns, or high caliber rifles. As Abrami finishes his interview, he says "Its a sport, its a tool, its a team, there's nothing wrong with that". Please consider signing if you agree with me and plenty others that school rifle teams shouldn't be abondaned and should be embraced as places of learning how to handle firearms correctly for the youth of New York state. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.
