To correct mismanaged/lack of funds in CCSD

In Nevada, only 72% of students graduated from the class of 2016. Nevada currently ranks 40 out of 51 for education in our nation. Of the districts in Nevada, Clark County ranked 9 out of 16 and is the fifth largest school district in America. The school system is lacking in funding for class size reduction, teacher retention, basic supplies and technology, and proper working facilities. Cuts are still being made, and CCSD is losing up to $80 million this year. To fix this, people need to be aware this problem exists and that it needs to be addressed. Accountability from the CCSD officials and school board plus adequate funding from the state of Nevada will result in success for Nevada students. Sign this petition to let state and local officials know that we want Nevada students to come first.
