The recent decision by the faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science has caught many international students by surprise. The decision is worry some for many students, especially those who moved to their home countries as a result of pandemic and suspension of face-to-face classes.

Until today, the decision to hold classes remotely for third year students was intact. Given the fact that the next semester starts in less than a month and visa process in many countries require extensive documentation and time, it is requested that decision to conduct classes face-to-face should be reverted for the upcoming semester.

If the decision to continue classes face-to-face cannot be repealed, then the students should at least be given an option to choose between face-to-face and online mode of study.
