Christina Laing started this petition to Dead by daylight

At first I thought I was just unlucky in the dead by daylight penalty scene. Upon investigating, I have found that thousands of people are suffering with my same issue. Involuntarily disconnecting from a dead by daylight match. From a certain perspective, I can totally understand why they are out in place. They are put in place so that people can not automatically decide to DC (disconnect) from a game on their own will, which can ruin the game for their fellow team members. That being said, people find other ways to exit the server without reviving their penalty. For example, they will let themselves die on hook, and/or they will find the killer, then purposely get themselves down. This from a player perspective completely does the same thing has a player disconnecting through simply clicking the quit lobby button. As you can see, I entirely understand why they have it in place, but now the part that’s not so fun.
Over the course of two weeks, I have unexplainable been suffering from “lagging out” of my games. It started with the typical, and bearable, few minutes penalty. Suddenly I started hitting bigger numbers. Like an hour, and then six hours. Keep in mind, this is over the course of two weeks. Now today, December 9th I have reached a 48 hour penalty. With the potential of a ban. I don’t want anyone else to become this furious with the game, especially if they have put their own hard earned money into the game. I full heartedly believe, dead by daylight needs to remove the penalty ban indefinitely, especially since we all know how much technical difficulties it has. Those who this has happened to, that knows their wifi is more than enough for this game, will understand the frustration when their “troubleshooting” just involves “checking our wifi”. I hope this can open some of your eyes, and help me get the attention this needs.
