We, Lasallian and Filipino sports fans, youth and concerned citizens would like De La Salle university to consider sanctioning Mr. Juico who is a product of the school and had been using school-linked forums and credentials to abuse and attack EJ OBIENA. 

The Philippine Olympic Committee has declared Philip Ella Juico (GS 1961, HS 1965, AB-BSC 1970) - PATAFA head as persona non-grata for embarrasing and scandalizing an internal matter involving National Athlete EJ Obiena, who is not supposed to handle financial matters and act as an financial accountant but rather focus on sports, and whose coach Mr. Petrov denied allegations and sided with Obiena over unfounded allegations. In the same way, the school where Philip Ella Juico, a "distinguished alumni" studied and headed should admonish Juico to practice Lasallian Values, protect the youth and country's interest ahead of personal ambitions and declare him persona non-grata for violating Lasallian Values and the Olympic Charter.

We are imploring DLSU to consider the following actions:

1. Urge DLSAA to remove Juico, Philip Ella (GS 1961, HS 1965, AB-BSC 1970) from 2001 DLSAA Sports Hall of Fame Awardee Juico, Philip Ella as 2001 DLSAA Sports Hall of Fame Awardee for National Sports Programs - his management and childish politicking is detrimental to the state and morale of Filipino athletes and had been involved in scandals and accusations in his tenure in government office.
2. Stop providing a platform for Mr. Juico to air his views and controversies (ArcherTalks, publications, forums, etc.) especially with regards to his perceptions and tirades against athlete EJ Obiena. He had already utilized a public forum sponsored by La Salle-affiliated platform to direct his malicious accusations and attacks against a promising national athlete.
3. Urge Mr. Juico to issue a public apology to EJ Obiena, his coach, PATAFA, PSC and De La Salle University and all other persons of goodwill and for the former's role in tarnishing the reputation of Philippine sports.
4. Provide spiritual direction through Christian Brothers with focus on ten commandments to Mr. Popoy Juico.
5. Encourage Mr. Juico to resign and retire with a good conscience, and desist from corrupt and questionable practices. (This may be confirmed with present athletes) Mr. Juico should also reconsider withholding scholarships to deserving athletes and reinstate athletes recently dropped unilaterally. Lastly, he should not abuse his power and hide behind the facade of sports organizations to further his personal vendetta.
