We the students in the M.A.C.P. program are asking that Yorkville not increase tuition payments for those of us who have to defer our practicum placements until September 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to circumstances beyond our control, many of our original practicum placements are either closed or providing only Telehealth counselling at this time. As a result, we may have to defer our placements until September. In addition, some of us are now out of work due to the virus, and cannot tie up money by paying the university a large, lump sum tuition payment in April, as we may need that  money to live on. In these extraordinary circumstances, we are asking that Yorkville University not increase tuition payments for those of us who must defer our practicums until September 2020.
