Funding disparity is a huge problem in DC, one that predominantly affects communities of color, and translates into the quality of the education received by students. It is DCPS’s, the chancellor’s, and the citizens’ responsibility that students receive the most extensive and best quality education they can, compared to other students in the city. This petition will be sent to the Chancellor once completed in order to help make this problem known, and to further inform him that the people want change.
