Both Batman and Catwoman have shared a unique relationship for 80 years that seems to have gone through a never ending cycle of coming together only to break up, and it has gone on for far too long.

Many superheroes have gotten married over the years and DC Comics doesn't bother with them (Superman & Lois Lane, Green Arrow & Black Canary, Aquaman & Mera) but they believe if Bruce Wayne marries Selina Kyle then it would ruin Batman's portrayal which would be bad for business and he shouldn't be happy. Tom King changed the entire concept of their relationship (which he was the reason why many of us started reading Batman comics again) and was so close to having Batman and Catwoman get married but DC Comics (Dan Didio and Bob Harras specifically) interfered and left Bruce Wayne at the altar and had Alfred Pennyworth killed (Tom King wasn't responsible for those outcomes according to him because they weren't part of HIS plans for Batman). When DC Comics noticed their sales plummeting after "The Wedding" they had to get Batman and Catwoman back together, but more recently their upcoming comic previews clearly show they intend to split them up again.

It's becoming tiresome of having to repeat the same cycle in spite of the fact more people want Batman and Catwoman to be together because they're meant to be and DC Comics is being childish in refusing to accept changing with the times. I say this cycle must end and DC must accept the fact people want Batman and Catwoman to be together. So raise your voice and shout out to DC Comics "BAT AND CAT FOREVER!!!"
