Our country and world are being struck in a moment of war , extreme divisiveness  and conflict. I’d like to see a day of healing to start the healing process. The day  will highlight that differences of ideas are healthy,  and this leads to new ideas. The key is that we maintain our respect for ourselves and for the other person,  who has a different idea. This day will start the process of healing towards ourselves and others. The day  can focus on different healing practices of different cultures and traditions.  The day can offer a path for movement,  for each individual to move away from pain and move closer to love. It could be a day that all groups embrace,  as our nation looks to the healing  power that exists in each of us.
