Woods Cross Residents against Proposed High School Boundaries

Starting with the 2018-2019 school year, it is proposed that all residents north of 1500 S and east of Wildcat Way will now attend Bountiful High School.
We would like to see the proposed High School boundaries changed so that Citizens of Woods Cross, that live in these areas, can still attend Woods Cross High School. We believe that living in close proximity to Woods Cross High School makes it very important for our students to attend school there. Most of the students in this area can walk to Woods Cross High School, and could not easily walk to Bountiful High School.
Woods Cross is a tight knit, family community, that prides itself on the unity and sense of community that we hold. Our High School plays a huge role in this. With these proposed changes, we feel that this will remove the sense of community, unity and may cause segregation amongst the students required to attend Bountiful from their peers attending Woods Cross.
Please sign the petition that will be given to the Davis County School Board and Community Council to show that we love our city and want to see it stay together.
