Traffic Light for 158/Milling Road
Anyone who has driven through the intersection at 158/ Milling Road knows how annoying and utterly time consuming it is to drive through the area, not to mention the people who are put in danger of becoming victim of an accident due to human error. There have been many times where I'm turning left at the intersection to go to work and although I've scanned my surroundings mtuple times cars come flying out of nowhere. I'm not the only person who has experienced this issue. The brick wall in front of the house on the left at the end of Milling Road makes a very difficult obstacle to see past and people driving on 158 don't slow down even though there's a sign that advises drivers to slow down at the intersection. Traffic gets backed up from where drivers are waiting for long periods of time to turn either direction. I propose that Davie County puts a traffic light- not a traffic circle- at the aforementioned intersection to help reduce the possibility of an accident occurring. Let's make our roads safer for everyone in our community.
