Me and my boyfriend are trying to change our son’s last name we are new parents so when our son was born in October not to long ago my boyfriend put one of his last name that wasn’t suppose to be since he has two last names we didn’t notice until we saw my boyfriend birth certificate and social.We just need to change the last name our son has now to the other one my boyfriend has.It was a mistake me and my boyfriend made while doing the paperwork at the hospital and we should have made sure it was right before signing it off.We are doing this for our son so it won’t affect our son later on in the future and when we decide to have more kids in the future.As parents we ask you to understand where we are coming from and our situation and sign the petition so we can get our court date and move forward with the process thank you.
