Charles Road is such a small road, with only 13-15 homes located here. There are 10+ children who all play together outside, 9 cats 3 of which kittens that stay out the front of the houses and soon there will be a school built at the end of the road which will result in more children and parents using our road. Lots of people use this road to take dogs and children for walks, we have no pavements and it is an unsafe road. Everyday cars and large delivery vehicles are using this road as a short cut to other roads, speeding through to beat the cars going the correct way. Delivery vans always use this road as a short cut aswell. There is no need for this road to be used as a short cut as there are 2 much larger roads each side that lead to where they are cutting through to. At least if this gets done before the school is built it will make school time much safer aswell. So please people help us and sign the petition to get our road blocked off, keeping our children and pets safe !
