BREAKING! Aloha! Hawaii becomes 9th “CLEAN” adoption reform state!
Jun 24, 2016 — Friends of “CLEAN” adoption reform,
Stellar news! Yesterday Hawaii became the 9th state to make “CLEAN” adoption reform the law of their land!
And, with Act 080, Hawaii becomes the first state to enact “CLEAN” reform that will impact all members of the Adoption Triad! Adoptees, birthparents and adoptive parents will all be able to inspect adoption records, as long as the adoptee has reached the age of eighteen.
We wish to congratulate Adoption Circle of Hawaii for their outstanding work in advancing the human and civil rights of adoptees born in the Aloha State!
Every state we win proves that this cause will continue until ALL 50 states have recognized that:
1. Adoptees—deserve their long overdue, and unrestricted, human and civil rights
2. Birthparents—deserve to be found, receive compassion, share truth and heal
3. Adoptive parents—deserve to be seen for what they often are—supporting “CLEAN” reform!
Please share this news!
Next up: New York!
Aloha,
Tim and Doris
