We all love to see fireworks but all animal lovers know the impact that unplanned and unnecessary fireworks have on our animals. I am not suggesting that firework displays are banned but that if they are to be done, they should be delivered through sanctioned and organised events that have local approval. They should be advertised so that pet owners can take the necessary preventative actions to keep their pets safe and unstressed. Firework sales should be sanctioned to organisers only rather than to Joe Public.
