Dear David Lloyd Northwood members:
 
This petition is garner member support for a proper QUIET adult area at David Lloyd Northwood. Many David Lloyd clubs have a dedicated adult area properly shielded from the noise of children and babies screaming and crying, we should demand the same.
 
In fact David Lloyds own corporate blurb for Northwood states:
 
‘Adults-only space
Offering a sophisticated club environment, our dedicated adults’ area is the perfect place to seize a moment of calm during a hectic day, or to get some work done while you enjoy a coffee and wind down from a training session. And at the end of the day, why not enjoy a drink with friends in our bar?’

This is far from accurate as the the adult only space is open .. with kids playing and constantly making noise throughout the day and evening times in the adjacent areas. Hardly an oasis of calm. It’s impossible to have a quiet drink, work, read or watch televised sports events in peace. Members individually have consistently expressed similar views but nothing has been done by the club so far. I’m all for a family friendly club but our adult concerns should be taken on board and a proper enclosed quiet adult area provided.
 
The noise is personally driving me mad.  Please support this petition if you value your sanity.
