The issue

There are approximately 1.2 million British-born migrants living in other EU countries who are now facing uncertainty about their future after Brexit, as well as those who have repatriated to Britain but wish to maintain their right to relocate within the European community.

Our demands

The EU and UK parliament must ensure that all citizens of the United Kingdom who have previously exercised or are currently exercising their right, according to Article 45 of the TFEU, to freedom of movement and residence within the European Union, in order to freely seek employment and/or residence within another EU member state, will retain this right after Britain has left the European Union.

Why is this important?

Many of us have built relationships, families and forged business connections across Europe, all of which would be jeopardized if our current rights were taken away from us as a result of Brexit. The proportion of the British population who voted remain have been ignored thus far and we demand recognition and for our right to live and work in the EU to be guaranteed.
