It has been announced by the artist Tristan Eaton (Painted Oceans) that he wishes to Cover the Red Sands Forts on the Kent Coast with "Graffiti" Art.

I Feel this is disrespectful to Our Heritage and should be Stopped in it's tracks, Other ways need to found to raise the Profile of the Forts and raise capital to restore them Properly 

Covering the Forts in this sort of art will not help the Image of the forts and will actually discourage people from supporting the Forts.

I have now received a email from Project Red Sands. 

"Please be assured that nothing will happen with the murals unless there is a substantial offer to stabilise the structures, a conservation plan and significant input to the restoration program. This would be followed by a Public Consultation in order to reach a decision. So far there has been no such offer, therefore as it stands, it’s a no go."

I now suggest everyone that has seen this petition share amongst there friends and donate to Project Red Sands So they have the Money to carry out correct restoration and don't have to take money from a project like this.
