I'm going into my second year as a carer and full time mum therefore could not study without the bursary. Being part time and no student loan means I need the bursary to pay fees

I'm a social work student about to go into my second year, it makes such a difference to students - the difference of being able to continue studying and having to withdraw from the course. Bad times - lots of potentially fabulous social workers unable to continue :-(

Because as a social work student it is near impossible to survive without the NHS bursary. You are unable to hold down a job and it can be a struggle to get money from elsewhere to support your living costs.

I'm signing because I've had first hand experience of how unjust the student finance system can be and how demanding studying social work is.
