Four year old Violet-Grace died following a hit and run on Prescot road, St. Helens.
This is not the first crash to happen on Prescot road. On the 23rd of June 2016 a police car crossed over a pedestrian footpath and crashed into a car showroom. Luckily no pedestrians where harmed.
I'm petitioning to stop high speed police chases. Putting pedestrians at risk does not justify chasing a stolen veichle.
Veichles can be recovered at a later date. Insurers can help their drivers. Cars can be replaced. A life cannot be replaced.
Voilet-graces grandmother is still in hospital fighting for her life, and the culprits are yet to be found.
Please sign to stop high speed police chases. - we are very lucky no lives where taken back in June 2016.
Disclamer: there is no evidence to suggest the stolen vehicle was in a high speed police chase.
- I want to help to prevent more incidents by stopping high speed police chases.
