Please sign to have splashmin shut down. They are numerous deaths at this place. There are claims that they have lifeguards but I personally have not seen any. Furthermore if they do have lifeguards they are busy partying inside the funpark and indulging in alcohol. My very good friend drowned and died INSIDE splashmin and no lifeguards were there to save him!!! When his mother asked management to borrow their boat to go search for her son they REFUSED her the boat saying their manager isn’t there and can’t lend her the boat. Dinesh Ramdas was left inside splashmin at the bottom of the creek ALL NIGHT. The owners of splashmin did not even care to go look for him claiming that it was dark. Really? Are there no lights to use to look at night? What kind of business and establishment is this!?! How can you have a huge creek and not a single lifeguard there to save him??We must do something to stop this! This place keeps taking the lives of our young brothers and sisters. How late is too late??? Enough is enough!
RIP Dinesh Ramdas
GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN
JUSTICE FOR DINESH
From Dinesh’s Mom - Shellyan Ramdas:
My son was murdered (I call it murder because if the relevant authorities had responded as they should, my son may be alive today) at the Splashmin's Fun Park last Sunday. He died by drowning! Now many may judge me and disagree but only a mother understands the pain of losing a child. As a resort where families and friends go to have a good time every weekend, there should be safety measures n protocols in place at all times when the park is opened to the public. We were told that the lifeguards went home because it was Sunday, when Sundays are usually very busy with patrons there!!!! Then we were told that they cannot help by lending the boat to go get him. Now persons saw when he was going down in the water and wanted to help but couldn't go out into the deep waters. After many begging and persuading the lady driving the boat decided to take to boat to look for him (this is after many hours passed and he was already dead under the water) a patron who was there with his family and saw exactly where he went down told her where to look and again she was steering the boat in other directions. His body was found the next morning just five minutes into searching for him. Exactly where the man said he went down!!! Not to mention the piranhas did a number on his face. My beautiful baby boy!!!! For me he would always be my baby boy....... there were no lifeguards present on that day much less have one trained in CPR! There were no buoys in the water! There is 1 just 1 very small sign that says "boating area, swimming not allowed" or something like that. Plus the most bizarre of them all is there are piranhas and aligators in the same water patrons go in to swim!!!! Are the fishes trained to stay in the deep area and not venture into shallow waters!!! People just think about it!!! Some may say my son had no business being in that part of the water but mistakes happen. Point is Splashmin's offers a service and you are supposed to feel safe with that service knowing that they are equipped in case of an emergency, like in the case of my son. He was no the first and how many more lives do we have to see go down there before we take action!! They should be shut down until they get their acts together!!! #justicefordineshramdas #hemaystillbealivetoday #wewerenotgiventhatchanceofknowing
