The 1.063 acre farmhouse parcel on Argyle (across from the El Sobrante Christian School) is up for sale and it is being marketed as a development property for a subdivision or condo project. (Its address is 618 Appian Way, but its front is on Argyle.)
It is zoned R7 which means it cannot have condos developed on it (which is advertised) but it can have a subdivision built on it. It can have about 7 homes per acre minus space for roads etc.
This kind of development will drastically increase noise and traffic, and ruin the semi-rural feel and quality of life of our neighborhood. We like our quiet town and don’t want this kind of dense building! Please sign this petition to keep out hungry developers.
