Remove the NON Mandatory policy for second years to abide by the new BTEC changes.

This petition made change with 69 supporters!

The new changes that Edexcel have made to BTEC's are mandatory for newly enrolled students starting September 2014 this is however, not mandatory for second years who are already enrolled onto their course!

This policy puts second year students at a disadvantage, not all colleges apply this policy so the colleges who don't have a better chance at achieving the higher grades, as opposed to the ones who have got this change forced on them such as myself.

This impacts our future as the competition for places at University, Apprenticeships and Jobs are very high so we want to have the best possible chance which, is reflected by our grades!

The more people that sign the louder the student voice is and we should not be ignored. This is our future make sure you shape it not other people who are only interested in achieving numbers and who don't care about what is best for the students!
