As citizens of Pennsylvania, we all have vested interest in the proper execution of lawful School Board meetings in accordance with the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act. There is questionable activity occurring in the Lehighton School District. Legal council is involved, the State Attorney General’s Office and State Auditor General’s Office have been notified as well as the Carbon County District Attorney. We petition the School Board and any other organizations or legal entities that are involved or become involved in the investigation of reported violations of the Sunshine Act to take action required to remove those perpetrators from the School Board.
The accusations claim violations of the Sunshine law of Pennsylvania, abuse of power, and ignoring ethical responsibilities by obstructing citizens in the exercise of lawful rights.
The FACTS and TRUTH, whatever is concluded, must be known in order to heal an extraordinarily divided community, promote positive growth for the students, and to have a functional School Board.
