Currently, users of dating apps have no way of knowing if another user of the app has any sexual convictions. In England this information isn’t available to us publicly and the apps states it is the users responsibility to know/take on this risk. 

I want to make it compulsory that this question is ask when creating a profile and if it is later found that the question was answered falsely then this can be used to show that the offender has broken their bail/sentence/parole etc. 

Not knowing this information is putting people at risk. Very few rape cases are charge and less are actually taken to court. People have been sentenced to prison and as soon as they are released they are back on these apps. 

If the dating apps are profiting from the user then they should be obligated to protect us as much as possible. 

If this change is made then hopefully less people will be in danger from sexual predators that use these apps for that purpose.
