Prevent Peter Chiarelli from working in the NHL.

Enough is enough.

Edmonton Oilers fans, NHL fans, and hockey fans in general deserve better than the treatment we receive from this franchise.

After coming off 35 first round first picks in the past 10 years and failing to make the playoffs with a salary capped start studded roster, we're yet again giving Peter Chiarelli the reigns to destroy the franchise even more.

We're already solidified our spot as the laughing stock of the league, and now for some reason the organization is trying it's hardest to make sure that we're never able to recover from this slump we're in, ever.

This is the same GM that has traded away:

Two draft picks to the Islanders to send Griffin Reinhart over to Vegas. (GM of Edmonton)

Johnny Boychuk to the Islanders for a second round pick in both 2015 and 2016. (GM of Boston)

Jordan Eberle to the Islanders for Ryan Strome. Eberle put up 25 more points this season and pulled less penalty minutes, and played one less game. (GM of Edmonton)

Nail Yakupov to the Blues for Zach Pochiro, who never played a game in the NHL, and a draft pick which after another trade ended up being Stuart Skinner. Skinner plays for the Swift Current Broncos as their goaltender. (GM of Edmonton)

Acquired Tomas Kaberle (traded away at the end of the season) for a draft pick which ended up being Rickard Rakell. (GM of Boston)

Kris Versteeg in exchange for Brandon Bochenski. Bochenski failed to play more than half a season for the Bruins. (GM of Boston)

Phil Kessel to the Leafs for two draft picks which became Tyler Seguin and Dougie Hamilton. This trade was initially good, as he acquired Tyler Seguin. (GM of Boston)

Tyler Seguin for Reilly Smith and Loui Eriksson. The only lack of discipline involved in this trade was on Chiarelli's part. (GM of Boston)

Brad Boyes to the Blues in exchange for Dennis Wideman, who performed so poorly in Boston that they just got rid of him. (GM of Boston)

Justin Schultz to Pittsburgh for a draft pick that became Filip Berglund. Filip hasn't played a game in the NHL, Schultz just won back to back cups and is currently in the playoffs again. (GM of Edmonton)

Just to name a few.

Long story short, is that Edmonton Oilers fans deserve a team that has a chance at even making the playoffs, and history has shown that Peter Chiarelli is completely inept when it comes to building this kind of team.
