Get our NT kids out of the heat, give them lights at Gardens to play

We need your help to secure the future of NT footy and NT cricket by supporting the installation of lights at Gardens Oval.
Current facilities at Gardens Oval can’t cope with ongoing and substantial growth, and lights are integral to meeting the rising participation of two of the Territory’s most popular sports.
With a focus on female and junior participation, lights at Gardens will allow for more fixturing opportunities to better utilise the facility, while allowing community sporting groups and clubs to train and play during evenings.
This four-tower lighting option has been specifically designed to be location conscious, ensuring there is no light spill or disruption to residents or the environment in the wider area.
The initiative has received in principle support by the Darwin City Council, with a final decision to be made at the Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday the 12th of June. Sign now to show your support and improve the future for NT kids and families by lighting up Gardens Oval.
