Save Robs Memory
This petition had 572 supporters
Robs Parents, Keith and Carol, built a two bedroom lodge on their own land at The Lavender House Hotel in Ashburon. This was for Rob and his family to live in whilst he was undergoing treatment for cancer.
Dartmoor National Parks gave them a two year licence to allow the lodge to remain whilst Rob was treated.
Unfortunatly Rob did not survive the two years.
Dartmoor National Parks are now demanding it gets removed.
Keith and Carol would like to let the lodge out for respite holidays for young people with terminal illnesses and their families. They would be able to stay on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast basis and this would be COMPLETLY FREE OF CHARGE.
To fund this project, Keith and Carol would rent the lodge to their wedding guests on Saturday nights only. Any proceeds would go towards funding the lodge.
Dartmoor National Parks DO NOT AGREE with this and have said that it is NOT a worthy enough cause to keep the lodge.
Please help to keep Robs memory alive by signing this petition.
