Server Assistants, also known as the person who cleans the tables you eat at and greats you at the door at longhorn steakhouse, makes $5.24 an hour plus tip share. Tip share is based on sales per server. Most servers get $500 on average and around $2,000 if not more on on a good day in sales. Server Assistant's make $2.50 on a $100 check as to where the servers are making $15, $20, sometimes $25 That’s not something we can survive on especially during these troubled times. Please help me get the hourly wage changed to the appropriate amount we Server Assistants work very hard for. We work too hard and for too long to only make $20 or even less a day because of sales. One can’t survive on $20 a day and $5.24 hourly 4-5 days a week. I think we deserve and work too hard to only be paid 5.24 and hour and 2.50 or less per table.
