Hello. My name is Ryan Wagner and I am a humble, innocent filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. For the past two years I -- along with my partner Benjamin Montez -- have worked tirelessly to write, direct, and produce an incredibly personal feature film, one that was supposed to jumpstart my career.

The movie is a real tear-jerker that even my father (who can be very tough on me) said was good. We landed a development deal at 'Working Title Films' and were supposed to receive distribution through 'Universal Pictures'.

Over the past few weeks we have been preparing to release our movie, so imagine my surprise when I logged online to see that DANNY BOYLE STOLE THE IDEA TO MY MOVIE.

The 'Working Title' led picture called Yesterday is a complete and total ripoff of my film, Accidentally in Love. I suspect that Danny Boyle stole the script by logging onto my computer and sending it to himself-- this would not be that hard as I am constantly forgetting my laptop at various Starbucks across the greater Los Angeles area.

It hurts, to have something so personal ripped out from inside my heart and smeared on every movie theater screen in America, but I will not stand idly by as Danny Boyle continues to steal my ideas. I demand acknowledgment from Danny Boyle, 'Working Title Films', and 'Universal Pictures' that the idea to Yesterday was originally mine.

I heard that Hollywood had dirtbags, but I had no idea that they could reach the level of Danny Boyle. I know sometimes people make mistakes (in my heart, I believe that my father means well) but this is not one of those times. This calls for action. Please, I beg of you from the bottom of my heart, share this petition with everyone you know and #StopYesterdayToday.
