Small businesses yet again have been left out from any eligibility for assistance. We have had zero help from the government. We need help. We have listened and have closed down multiple times. Our businesses aren’t stable. You have excluded those not registered for GST. Those who have shut down their businesses just like those who pay GST. The eligibility criteria excludes so many businesses in need. This support package failed to offer any compensation for those of us who are struggling the hardest. There is no sense or fairness in this at all. It is absolutely disgraceful and shameful. Working in the beauty industry I have been closed multiple times. This time we have had to shut our doors for 2 weeks maybe more. We have been robbed of our ability to earn income for months on end. We still have bills to pay for, stock to pay for, mortgages/leases and the list goes on. It is not fair to exclude those who are in desperate need of help. Although we are not deemed as essential work our income is essential to us.
