Urgently FUND and make available secure Public Housing or Private Rental Accommodation close to Hospitals for Homeless COVID19 positive people. 

Minister for Housing Richard Wynne is aware of the extent of the problem highlighted in this article by Melissa Cunningham in The Age 1 September 2020. 

37 Homeless Victorians with Coronavirus have been turned away from Hotel Quarantine 

because they didn’t have a RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS. This is a Public Health CATASTROPHE. 
Homeless “Services” dump people in overcrowded Rooming Houses 20 people or more in a 7 bedroom suburban house or old Motel like The Ambassador in Frankston full of shrieking ice addicts with shared bathrooms toilets and laundry. 
An outbreak and massive cluster is guaranteed if a homeless person with a pet dog is sent to a caravan park or chooses to stay on the street sleeping in a car. 
Homeless services refuse access to any new residents since March 29 2020 to protect their staff.
Hospitals can’t house asymptomatic corona positive people, they have to deal with the sickest first. 
Homeless services are 9 to 5, there are only 2 Homeless Phone Workers for Melbourne City. 
This pandemic will keep rolling unless every infectious person is safely off the street and gets the chance to fully recover.
