LET OUR TAEKWONDO TEACHERS BACK INTO THE CLASSROOM TO CONDUCT ONLINE LEARNING!

Martial Arts Schools, and in particular Taekwondo schools will be one of the last places of gathering allowed to open on 23 November 2020. Even then the restrictions on numbers will make opening an almost non-viable option.

WE CALL ON PREMIER ANDREWS TO ALLOW TEACHERS BACK INTO THEIR CLASSROOMS FOR THE START OF TERM 4 TO DELIVER ONLINE TRAINING TO THEIR STUDENTS

Taekwondo clubs cater to our very young right through to the elderly, with the vast majority of participants being under 18.  This is the age at which children form the foundations of their futures and Taekwondo plays an important part in this by providing:

  • ·      Healthy exercise, and
  • ·        Instils self-confidence and self-esteem, which are most important in maintaining good mental health

By November kids will not have attended structured martial arts classes for 8 months which could lead to reduced participation numbers, increased child-hood obesity and mental health concerns.

Teachers want to teach, kids want to learn, schools want to provide education services and small family businesses need to be open to survive.
