My car was burglarized 10 days ago in Fitchburg. I'll spare you all the gory details. Chances are - you can fill-in-the-blanks because you have heard about this same thing happening to a friend, relative, neighbor. RECENTLY.  

The BOTTOM LINE is that I have talked with dozens of people in  Dane County reporting the same thing. A friend that got their car stolen (Stoughton).   Car -jackings (McFarland) .  Another friend's grandmother was robbed at the grocery store on Sunday at noon. (Pick n Save Mckee road) 

The police say they can't help. If they bring a  15 year-old into Juvenile detention .... they are released 4 hours later.  The robbers are kids because they know they won't charge minors.  The DA isn't prosecuting. The judges let the offenders go.  

We NEED TO GET THE ATTENTION OF THE POLITICIANS and PROSECUTORS in charge of making this right. NOW.  

 ENOUGH is ENOUGH. This cannot , should not, wait until the next election cycle.
