The current state of the Dernancourt Shopping Centre entrance/exit intersection is not only ineffective but dangerous.
The intersection relies on motorists monitoring several different flows of traffic that are constantly changing. The chance for a motorist to make a potentially fatal mistake is simply too high.

Today I witnessed a collision involving a cyclist, who appeared to sustain significant injury. It's hard to completely blame the motorist at fault considering the complexity of the intersection, made worse at certain times of day by the sheer volume of traffic moving through it.

As a cyclist myself, I believe the Torrens electorate should take responsibility for redesigning the intersection, in the interest of public safety, before it costs more injury, or even death.
