Would you as a resident of Dana Point be willing to support a law to ban sleeping, sitting, waiting, begging, parking and or doing drugs on public streets, sidewalks, spaces, parks and public gatherings. Health violations, danger, safety and other hazards. I have been a resident of Dana Point, Capo Beach and San Clemente. I have never felt so unsafe in Dana Point in the last year. When addicts are walking the streets, these are not homeless people there are Addicts. I would like to ban included various activities from camping and sitting in particular outdoor places to loitering and begging in public to sleeping in vehicles.
Cycling on the river channel you should not have to ride around covered bodies, or view camps under Stone Hill. You should feel safe to walk to a restaurant and should not have to pass unsafe entry to Ralph's and Albertson's. Residents near Thunderbird park should not have a Camp near their homes, or RV parked near their houses. Residents should not see people in bushes at Doheny State Beach, Capo Beach (Hole In the Fence), bathing in beach showers, sleeping on picnic tables. We should not be approached in the Harbor while enjoying Ice Cream with children, watching the Boat Parade – enjoying Baby Beach.
We are residents in Dana Point, should demand better, safer and clean places.
