If a teenage boy of 15 years old had, lost his father to a battle with AIDS, and 6 months later both his mothers to a homophobic next door neighbor...a sixty year old man who claims he had to kill them because they were gay...

If this boy was bullied in school because of the publicity on the murders of his mothers and if this boy went on to fall into drugs and gangs, would you be surprised? If this boy made a horrible mistake at the age of 18 and found himself involved with a drive by shooting and was sent to prison would you want him to die in prison? If he spent the last 23 years trying to educate and himself, striving daily to help others and working to be the best man he could be would you be willing to forgive him?

If he had become a kind, compassionate, and caring man who had endured 24 years in prison would you feel he deserves mercy? If he had taken every class and educational opportunity available to him in the penal system would you believe he deserves a second chance at life? If you believe a hurting young man can make a horrible mistake and still become a man worth redeeming then sign this petition requesting clemency, mercy, and forgiveness for Josh from the Governor of Michigan. Its time for a second chance for Josh!

For more information on Josh check out and for the story of how he lost his mothers.
