As you all may know there are American flags hanging on each of the phone poles on Main Street.  I feel (and I am sure many will agree) that there should also be progess pride flags flown on every other phone pole to show the Lgbtq+ community acceptance, which will create a much more welcoming environment. I also feel that the Lgbtq+ community should have more representation in Newtown, as there are no pride flags on hanging in town. As we are a progressive town it would be nice to have that be shown by putting up a few flags. Getting signatures on this will mean so much to the Lgbtq+ community and create a much more happier environment for them all to live in. This is purely to show a bit more positivity, acceptance and acknowledge everyone where we live :)
