We the LGBT community are asking Dan Cathy, Chief Operating Officer of Chick-Fil-A to rescind his public statement "there is no denying that his company opposes marriage equality."  Chick-fil-A’s president, Dan Cathy  has condemned marriage equality, activists as “prideful and arrogant” for “inviting God’s judgment” with the “audacity to define what marriage is about.”In a statement posted to the company’s facebook page  the company said its culture is to “treat every person with honor, dignity and respect – regardless of their belief, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender.”

Chick-fil-A COO Dan Cathy said in explosive interview that the company is only supportive of heterosexual family values. He added that business is family-based 'and we are married to our first wives'.The Company donated more than $3m between 2003 and 2009 to Christian organisations with anti-gay agendas. We are boycotting Chick-fil-A because these are our consumer dollars and they’re part of our voice. We should use them for products we like, to support companies we like and to back causes we like.

Dan Cathy also personally took it upon himself to say he is "guilty as charged" He and his company stand by the "biblical" definition of marriage. Now with the nation starting to gather together in an effort to show in our solidarity... Chick-fil-A is making even more mistakes. They are lying to the public and playing games with us all. We won't stand for it. Mr. Cathy DOES NOT  have the right to push  his personal belief on others. And now the stunt with the fake Facebook page has gone to far.

We are also asking that all of their suppliers  to stand with the LGBT community , and cease doing business with Chick-Fil-A until such time  that Mr. Cathy either publicly apologizes to the LGBT community and/or steps down as COO of Chick-Fil-A. We also ask that Chick-Fil-A cease all contributions to anti-gay organizations. We also are asking that Chick-Fil-A  publicly announce which organizations are being contributed to.
