The Confederacy fought to keep slavery intact and we should not glorify them or their cause.

I am signing this because this world needs change. If it starts with a street name change, I'll take it. A step in the right direction.

This pushes for the equality of the human race we’re pushing so hard for! It hurts that some people of different races aren’t going the extra mile to help us, but to tear us down like we’ve been hundreds of years ago!

I’m signing because if changing the name of this street helps members of our community feel like they are being heard and that the community is acting inclusive and sensitive, then we should do it. I want a community of people who feel safe and loved.
