R. L. Mitchell started this petition to Dallas District Attorney John Creuzot

We respectfully ask that Dallas District Attorney John Creuzot and the Dallas County District Attorney's office ensure that the harshest possible criminal charges and prosecution be applied toward Deadre Wright, Kelsey Jabari Wade Young and Jasmine Williams for the violent murder of Adan Lozano.

Background: On June 22, 2019, at approximately 02:45 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting in a paid parking lot at 2600 Main Street.  A 28-year-old Latin male, Adan Lozano, was shot multiple times and transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.  A second victim, who was also in the parking lot, was shot once while sitting inside his vehicle.  He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Current Situation:  Through fast and efficient work by the Dallas Police Department, Deadre Wright, Kelsey Jabari Wade Young and Jasmine Williams were quickly arrested.  We are asking the Dallas District Attorney's office to investigate and charge Deadre Wright, Kelsey Jabari Wade Young and Jasmine Williams with any appropriate felony charges that may apply.

Therefore, we are requesting that the Dallas District Attorney's office do their utmost in ensuring the harshest possible prosecution against Deadre Wright, Kelsey Jabari Wade Young and Jasmine Williams take place as they are a detriment to society and needs to be incarcerated for the longest possible sentence.

While we are thankful for all the work the Dallas Police Department and Dallas District Attorney's office, we continue to ask that the Dallas County District Attorney's office pursue the maximum penalty, including a lengthy jail sentence with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Sincerely,

The Deep Ellum Community  & Concerned Local Citizens
