Support a Full Budget for Dallas Bicycle & Mobility Infrastructure

Funding for Bicycle Infrastructure is too often on the chopping block when cities face budget shortfalls. Right now we need bicycle and mobility infrastructure more than ever.

While many of us are living life from home we all need fresh air, sunshine and exercise for mental health. For many essential workers, a bicycle can be the safest form of transportation without owning a car.

Now, while there are fewer cars on the road, this is the time to become a more bike-friendly and accessible city. This is the time to become a more transportation-diverse city, not burdened by the NEED to own a car or drive a car.

We need a city accessible for all residents, from 8 years old to 80 years old, by bike or wheel chair, skateboard or scooter.

Bikes are good for people, good for the planet, good for the economy. Together, let's build a stronger more resilient city as we move past this pandemic.

We who have signed below demand that the City of Dallas keep the FULL scheduled budget for bicycle and mobility infrastructure for Fiscal Year 2020-2021. It is more essential now than ever before.
