For too long now there have been numerous complaints and serious concerns about the Dalhart Lady Wolves volleyball program. Over the years many parents, including myself, have tried individually to speak to both the head coach and the athletic director regarding this matter. This has not worked. Our complaints and concerns get brushed aside or swept under the rug. So today, we come as a united front to demand change.

     She took over as head volleyball coach in 2007. She was handed a very successful program from Mr. Culpepper! Since then, under her direction, this program has been on a downward spiral, and she has been the sole demise of this program. Her record speaks for itself. According to MaxPreps, over the last 7 years Dalhart Volleyball has finished up district play 6 out of the last 7 years in last place. A total of 44 wins and 76 loses, a whopping 37% win rate. As we speak today, the 2021-2022 season has 5 wins and 11 loses, a 31%-win rate. She is a mentally abusive coach who has failed this school, this community, the volleyball program, and most importantly our student athletes.

     We will no longer sit quietly and let this continue. We are here to demand change. We are requesting her immediate resignation. We cannot wait one more day, one more season, or one more game. We need to immediately start the rebuilding process to get this once great program restored to it’s greatness! We owe it to our school, community, and the future Dalhart Lady Wolves.
