In my school district -district 196- the students are not allowed to have our phones out due to distracting reasons and I find that valid. But some students would enjoy to have it out because there are many tools and resources. I think it would be useful for many of us. For example we are doing an assignment and we have to look at one thing to another it would be much more efficient if we can just have it next to us. Also if there is a lesson on the board or something we need a picture of it is easier and less time consuming if we just were to use our phones. Another reason I would sign is I don’t know about you but I am home alone when I get home so sometimes my parents have to text me during school so if I can have my phone I would be able to respond. Again sometime students need to text their parents so being allowed to have them out is more convenient for not only the students but also the parents.I think it would be useful for many of us.
