The red lion public house, nash mills, Hemel Hempstead are asking for people to support us in trying to get our noise abatement notice lifted. We are a family run pub that have been doing a range of outside events for 15 years now, including many charity events that have raised thousands over the years and yearly music festivals that bring hundreds of local residents together for a good time. Unfortunately we were recently served a noise abatement notice due to a small number of local residents complaining about the noise coming from the pub garden at weekends only in the summer months. If the abatement is not lifted we will lose the majority of our income, as a party without music is not much fun and we will not receive many more bookings in the future. Therefore the pub will surely close after being here for over 400 years. A family will lose its livelihood and a community will lose one of the only child and dog friendly pubs and outdoor party venues, with large amounts of space for miles, and be turned into more flats in the area that we really do not need! So I would appreciate as much support as possible to try and get it lifted
