Our school history classes for senior year have decided to take a stand on certain problems going on. My team decided to focus on DACA because we feel like its something that is important and we wanna stand up for the people that have a chance to have a good opportunity and a better life here in the US while feeling safe.

We don't think it's right for something like DACA to be taken away from people and just be left frozen because its given people uncertainty and fear. Families are being torn apart and those who once were happy and grateful for DACA are now scared and feel like their dreams are being taken away from them.

I have met people that have been taken away from their families as kids and their stories are heartbreaking which is why I feel like they need justice if they were once given hope. There's not only uncertainty with DACA, but also with the lives of people here in the US. We have to be part of the change for better opportunities and equality for everyone, not the cause of the problem.
