We the students of D Y Patil University School of Biotechnology and bionformatics urge you to please reduce the fees for the 3rd installment as due to these unfortunate circumstances we have to stay at or home. For this reason, the amenities and facilities that are provided by the college to the students are not actually fulfilled due this situation of crisis that we all are facing.
Our college fees include
1. Tution fee
2. Computer lab fee
3. Library fee
4. Laboratory fee
5. Cultural activity fee

Even though the classes were held online and no classroom teaching was provided to the students almost throughout the year we don't ask you to provide us any explanation or concession for it but since computer labs, library, labratories were hardly used and no cultural event took place throughout the year, we request you to take a basic amount of ₹20000 per student as even though these facilities weren't used throughout the year the college still had to maintain them and we are also willing to pay the exam fees which is taken additionally as it is required to process the enter semester.

We understand the needs of college but is not the appropriate time for the university to make a profit while most of us are going through an economic crisis. We need a reduction in our fees because it's really difficult for parents to earn money during this economic wreckage and especially for middle classes families. So we sign the petition "Reduce our fees, at least for the services we haven't used or we are not paying the 3rd installment of fees"
