DO NOT SHIP CLERICAL JOBS TO INDIA

I saw an article in the Dallas Morning News that Baylor Scott & White Hospital (a Texas Health Care facility with 52 locations) plans to lay off workers and replace them with people in India. This is a move for the hospital system to contain costs since the pandemic has created so many financial problems. BUT ...THIS IS TOTALLY AGAINST OUR AMERICAN VALUE SYSTEM.  Laying off Americans during a pandemic where 12.6 million people are unemployed and shipping those jobs to another country, just pushes the financial burden back on the tax payer to provide for our own. How about cutting the pay of some of your executives to reduce costs?  Or perhaps combining some of your 52 locations (many of which are near another one) to reduce overhead?  The next time you start a fund-raising campaign we will remember your actions. Hopefully, the board of management will stop you from making such a poor decision.
